Medical update
My thanks to all on my flist who sent love and good wishes during my recent visit to the magic castle. I am home now, the surgery went well, and best of all Percoset!

I did have to have a total hysterectomy. I knew about the fibroids, the enlarged uterus, poly-cystic ovaries, and history of cervical cancer. What was a surprise, because I never had really painful periods, was the endometriosis. I was riddled with it. In the uterus, outside the uterus, on the ovaries, on the bladder. One of the "cysts" turned out to be an endometrioma. Plus lots of old blood which my doctor said was the color of chocolate. Lovely, but that won't make me stop eating chocolate!

But it is wonderful to be home, take a shower, and have pet therapy. Plus no one coming in every 3 hours to take my temp and BP. Who can sleep in a hospital?

Thanks again to my flist, HUGS to you all. Now off to read porn. Almost better than drugs!

	It was a struggle to decide between my aspirin icon and this one, but, ultimately, percoset wins over aspirin and porn? porn uber alles! ;) I'm about two weeks behind on my flist so didn't realize you were headed for surgery.
